Siuslaw River Bridge

Completed in 1936, the Siuslaw River Bridge was designed by Conde McCullough.  Driving highway 101 through the southern Oregon coastal areas, you will find yourself passing through Florence, Oregon.  This bridge spans the Siuslaw River heading southbound out of Florence.  We went to dinner at a small seafood restaurant in Florence and the twilight ambience seemed perfect to accent the gothic architecture of the bridge.

Notes: These are low resolution images and I apologize for the watermark signature on my photographs as I feel it detracts from enjoying the image. However, with the ease of image piracy on-line they are necessary evils.
